A versatile performer who has covered a broad range of character repertory, Scottish Spieltenor Seumas Begg is a graduate of both the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is a current member of the soloist ensemble at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater.

The 25/26 season sees Begg make several role debuts including Andres in Gurlitt’s Wozzeck, Shabby Peasent Lady Macbeth of Mtzensk, Gastone La Traviata, Schmidt Werther, and return to the roles of HexeHansel und Gretel, Schulmeister/Dackel The Cunning Little Vixen, Onkel Gustav Das Feuerwerk, and 4 Servants Les contes d’Hoffmann.
