A wonderful singing actress with a rich, powerful voice and charismatic stage presence, British Mezzo-Soprano Gaynor Keeble studied at the University of Warwick and the Royal Academy of Music, where she was a Countess of Munster scholar.

Keeble joined Welsh National Opera upon graduating from the Royal Academy of Music and has since collaborated with many of the UK’s leading opera companies. On the concert stage she has performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra; City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra; The Philharmonia; Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; London Mozart Players; Royal Northern Sinfonia and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra with conductors such as Dame Julia Jones, Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Colin Davis, Nicola Luisotti, Alexander Joel, Dan Ettinger and Sakari Oramo. Her recordings include Lady Bellaston in Edward German’s Tom Jones (Naxos); Councillor’s Wife Osud (EMI); HMS Pinafore, Patience and The Yeomen of the Guard (TER Classics); and Auntie Peter Grimes (Signum Classics).
Future engagements see her return to the Royal Ballet and Opera, Covent Garden, and the Harrogate International Festival.
