A member of the soloist’s ensemble at Oper Graz, Ekaterina Solunya is a graduate of the Vienna Conservatory, and Omsk Music School, Siberia.

In the 2025/26 season Ekaterina will make several important role debuts, including Gilda in a new Ute M. Engelhardt production of Rigoletto under the baton of Vassilis Christopoulos, Ilia in a new Philipp Westerbarkei production of Idomeneo, and Une Suivante d'Hébé in Castor et Pollux for Oper Graz.
Previous seasons’ roles at Oper Graz include Ascagne in Tatjana Gürbaca’s new production of Les Troyens and Ein junger Hirt in Evgeny Titov’s new production of Tannhäuser both under the musical direction of Chief Conductor Vassilis Christopoulos, Despina Cosi fan tutte conducted by Dinis Sousa, Clorinda La Cenerentola, Tytania A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mrs. Harper Tom Sawyer, The Lady in Waiting Macbeth, and Ninon in The Nightingale of Gorenjska.
