The 24/25 season includes her debut as Muse/Nicklausse Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Zweite Dame in a new production of Die Zauberflöte, Page in Salome, and Javotte in Manon, along with returns to the roles of Mercédès Carmen, and Flora La traviata (Wiener Staatsoper); and on the concert platform she gives recitals in the Bethlehem Music Series, Minnesota with Timothy Lovelace, and at the Gustav Mahler Saal, Wien, with Stephen Hopkins.
Her previous highlights in both opera and concert include Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia für Kinder, Zerlina Don Giovanni, Tisbe La Cenerentola, Waltraute Die Walküre, Wellgunde Das Rheingold, Mercédès Carmen, Flora La Traviata, Kate Pinkerton Madama Butterfly, Die Schleppträgerin Elektra, Amore Il ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria, Zweiter Knappe Parsifal, Zweite Magd Daphne, La Sorella Infermiera Sour Angelica and Soeur Mathilde Dialogues des Carmélites (Wiener Staatsoper); Zerlina Don Giovanni (Théâtre des Champs-Elysées); Filide Aminta e Filide (Les Arts Florissants); Seconda Cercatrice Suor Angelica and a Blümenmädchen Parsifal (Salzburger Festspiele/Wiener Philharmoniker); Arcane Teseo (Juilliard School of Music Opera); Jenny Reefer The Mother of Us All (New York Philharmonic Orchestra/Metropolitan Museum of Art ); SWR Junge Opernstars Concerts (Deutsche Radio Philharmonie); Debussy’s Nocturnes (New York Philharmonic Orchestra/David Geffen Hall); Alto soloist in JS Bach’s In allen meinen Taten and Magnificat in D, and Kuhnau’s Magnificat in C (Bach Roots Festival); Mussorgsky’s The Nursery (Julliard School of Music); and performed in recital at Alice Tully Hall and Damrosch Park as part of the Lincoln Center Restart Stages with leading conductors such as Philippe Jordan, Franz Welser-Möst, Bertraud de Billy, Daniela Candillari, Marco Armilliato, Domingo Hindoyn, Emmanuel Villaume, Daniel Barenboim, William Christie, Alexander Soddy, Stefano Montanari, Pablo Heras-Casado, Sebastian Weigle, Pier Giorgio Morandi, and Louis Langrée.
Alma obtained her Bachelor of Music and Vocal Performance from St. Olaf College, Minnesota, and is an alumna of the Wiener Staatsoper Opernstudio, the Julliard School of Music, Salzburger Festspiele Young Singers Programme, and the Music Academy of the West.
